Kuritol Preservation was founded in 1982 and transformed to a private limited company in 1983. The company was created by Ron Marc and Roddy Malcolm to offer an independent Scottish based alternative to the national companies already in existence, operating and catering for all aspects of the building and preservation industry, They realised that there was a niche in the market for an independent local company that could offer a fast, efficient, friendly and cost effective service to Edinburgh, Fife, the Lothians and Borders.

Kuritol is an approved contractor with both. Wykamol & John Newton – leading chemical and damp proofing manufacturers and suppliers. All products are environmentally friendly and manufactured to approved British Standards.

All timber and damp proof remedial treatment works carry a standard 30 year company guarantee, in addition, as approved Wykamol contractors, we can provide upon request and subject to an additional cost, an insured back-up guarantee issued by the Construction Guarantee Services Limited.

We believe that Clients can be secure in the knowledge that all specialist and building contract works undertaken, are carried our to the highest standards using only fully trained and experienced personnel. All contracts are overseen by our Contracts Manager from start to finish, he ensures that all works are compliant with current health and safety regulations and are carried out strictly in accordance with current C.O.S.H.H. regulations.
